Instruction for DIPECHO database users

DIPECHO database includes three main parts:
  1. Home page (cover page)
  2. Page of DIPECHO projects sorting by countries
  3. DIPECHO database

Home page (cover page) - intended for receiving of general information on DIPECHO, including the link to web-page for this program.

Page of DIPECHO projects sorting by countries - in this part the users can obtain the information on DIPECHO projects sorted by Central Asian countries. During the selection of the country, for instance, Tajikistan, all the DIPECHO funded projects starting from 2003 will appear. Here, the general information is provided on the project including two attached files. First of them is the project factsheet with detailed information on the project in PDF format, and the second one is the project coverage map in JPEG format. These files could be saved at user's computer or printed using the button "print" in user's browser. At the bottom of this page the link to the DIPECHO database itself is located where the more options for data sorting according to different criteria's are provided.

DIPECHO database - in this section the users have more options for data sorting according to different search criteria's. Search of the projects could be done according to the following criteria's: country, region, district, organization, project implementation date, main donor, total budget.

Since in the search menu "organization" and "the main donor" includes the abbreviations, in order for clarification near these parts the reference for "List of full names" is located, clicking on which the windows with full names of used abbreviations appears.

After the selection of data criterion it is necessary to click on the "search" button. As a result the table with general information on required projects will appear. In this section there is an option of data sorting in alphabetic order, increasing order and decreasing order in such fields as: "organization", "main donor", "title of the project", "location (country; region; district)", "year of intervention (starting date and completion date", "total budget". For sorting it is necessary to click with cursor on the name of one of the fields, which appear as link. In order to cancel sorting it is necessary to click on "back" button in the browser. For more information on the project it is necessary to click on the title of the project, which is highlighted as link. As a result the user enters into the section of the selected project.




This section includes three parts, clicking on which the user can enter into the appropriate sections:

  1. General information - short information on the project (organization/title of the project /project number/total budget/project donors/partners/implementation date/ targeted beneficiaries/detailed location of intervention/contact information)
  2. Project description - detailed information on the project (goal/objectives/activity/results/impact/ coordination with partners)
  3. Relevant documents

Above these sections the navigation with the titles of each clause or section is indicated that allows the user's to reach any of the required part of the database.

Section "Relevant documents" includes the following sub-sections:

  • Reports
  • Training materials
  • Good practices
  • Project factsheet with the detailed information on the project and project coverage map
  • Otherrs

These subsections include different files on the selected project. The files are located in different formats, such as DOC, PDF, JPEG, RAR and etc.

Each of these files could be saved, opened and printed using the button "print" in the user's browser.
